When you’re right
I must thank my colleagues on Facebook and other electronic forums for stimulating me to put together the list below. I was also driven to think and write by responses to ‘Of riots in banana republics’ on Facebook. Over the last year or so, I’ve been observing how people come to know when they are ‘right’. By right I mean a feeling of being justified in saying or doing something, or in making a decision. There is much overlap between factors and they certainly are not so neatly compartmentalised in real life, as they may appear in print. The list below is being worked into a decision-making tool.
