The commenting system is now fixed (fingers crossed). I’ve don’t four test comments which now appear in the right places.

How it was fixed:
- Avoidance of panic attacks.
- Not spending tons of time reading what idiots have written on the net about it. I had a look but I wasn’t satisfied that they knew what they were talking about.
- Allowing the problem to rest in the background and for my ‘unconscious’ to work on it.
The final solution came like a flash! Something said, ‘Reinstall the site’s software’ – and at the same time it made sense because the bug appeared to be due to bad ‘code’ or left over code from an incomplete previous installation.
So – I listened to that voice. The reinstallation took only 10 seconds – and bingo the tests seemed work i.e. comments now appear on the posts they are made to.
The site is now open again for comments. But if I spot problems, commenting will be suspended gain for troubleshooting.
