The neuroscience and power of stupidity

Wow! I came across the video below that explained it very well – how stupid people are so powerful. Like a panorama opened before me.

Fear of intelligence was explained very well. It’s something I’ve been observing for years – obviously because I am statistically in the top 5% of the intelligence distribution curve. Ooooh.. how arrogant for stating a fact based on hard evidence. Nobody does that – or is allowed to! Do I give a flying banana? I do not!

The main point for me is to understand how dimmer people are likely to react. The penny did drop because I’ve often heard that I’m intimidating, when I did nothing at all except respond with a cogent argument – yes, in a normal tone of voice with my hands tied behind my back! FFS!
