Getting straight into it – a BBC reporter went undercover for 3 months and exposed all manner of abuse at Edenfield Unit in Prestwich. Unfortunately for the lazy, they’d have to watch the whole video to know what happened. Hats off to the BBC for this brilliant piece of work. They achieved more than any doctor – restricted by the GMC – could.
In 2018 I worked at this location for 3 months – same as the reporter. You didn’t have to be a genius to know it was crap then. I could not take it – suffered with stress – and left. All that they say about management in this video was observed by me. I did not see this sort of abuse, obviously because I was not undercover. [Health Warnings and disclaimers apply]
