Right – today I am declaring that I am ahead of my time! Those who would bawl “Arrogant!!” are told to STFU. Why? Because yet again I see the world catching up with me!

As some will know, if they’ve not been sleeping under a rock for some years, ‘friends’ and ‘friendships’ have been one of my key topics on this blog. I have criticised the term ‘friend’ and declared that I have no friends! This causes some closer to me to be extremely puzzled because they think I am their friend. Well, now somebody out there has taken on the topic and is gonna make millions. I’m delighted.

To avoid the book don’t click the Amazon link.   As  usual, I declare that I have no shares in Amazon, and do not know the author or anyone connected to her (just in case).  Purchase of the book is optional and at your own risk. The provision of links here is not intended to suggest that I think the book is good, or that I am making a book recommendation. All such and related inferences are dismissed in advance.

Confrontational intrusion

Stupid: What you mean ‘just in case’?

CW: Just in case some fool with a social media mindset decides to pluck ideas out of their thick skull and turn them into facts.

Stupid: That’s insulting!

CW: Nonsense. Or rather if the truth is insulting, then fiiiiiiine! I have loads of evidence for how people jump to conclusions in social media circles.

Stupid: So why are you showing the book if you don’t recommend it.

CW: I’m showing it for those who may wish to explore the topic further.

Stupid: So have you read the book?

CW: No.

Stupid: Why?

CW: Cuz – I have too much already to read –  and I don’t need to play catch up on the topic of friends and friendships. The world is catching up with me!

Stupid: Arrogant as usual.

CW: No. It is me speaking the truth as usual – and I have a trail of evidence to show that the world is catching up with me.

Stupid: Really? ????

CW: Yes.

Stupid: How?

CW: I’d say things about 2 to 5 years in advance of the ‘mainstream’ discovering the same.

Stupid: Liar!

CW: Well, I don’t have time to waste trying to convince you of all people. Jeez.. you’re not even people.

Stupid: Insulting again!

CW: Sorry – the truth can be harsh. Now off you pop.

Right – as I was saying before that intrusion – the book looks like a good read but I’m not purchasing or reading it, because I have too much on my proverbial plate. I don’t need to see my thoughts on this blog validated in some book. It is just good to know that someone else has discovered similar things I’ve written about.

Social media evidence

One of the big reasons I hang out and interact on social media, is to explore cultures and ways of thinking/behaviour.  So when you see some of the same represented in the utterances of Stupid (that imaginary impish figure in my mind), you know where that came from. The example below shows that individuals feel ... Read more

I’m pretty good at mimicking stupidity!

Because I study stupidity so much, I’ve become a pass master at mimicking stupidity. Well it is been good. How? Some people actually have come to believe that I’m either terribly stupid or demented to some degree. I have evidence. Oh yes – but that doesn’t mean that everybody gets to see it. Why? Jeez ...
