This is not a tutorial or how exactly to organise your files. File organisation is not for everybody. Some people insist on having the files on their computer ‘all over the place’ and stashed in downloads folders or scattered across their desktop. If you’re one of those dim people, kindly move on right now. If, however, you like some organisation and you happen to use Windows 11, then stick around.

I’ve covered file organisation before when I used Robobasket. That piece of software has not been updated for years. It became slow on Windows. So now File Organizer has been around more recently. I was at first hesitant to try it. But I got a good deal in some email because I purchase occasionally from Abelssoft. It works well, and much faster than Robobasket.

The software is free to try out. Obviously, to try it out you have to spend some time learning how to use it. But you have freedom of choice. So a) you don’t have to download it, b) you don’t have to learn how to use it and c) you certainly don’t have to purchase it. In fact I’m giving so much freedom of choice I’m not even linking to the software! That way I can’t be accused of anything. Well, no – actually I can be accused anyway because people have freedom of choice to accuse if they feel to.

Now – bugger off. What – you thought there was going to be something more? You’re free to think so, and I’m free not to provide anything more. End of.
