Lot’s of people waste their time with AI models. Yes – I’m fond of AI Models for what they can do well. But that does not mean I give them free reign.

I do not bully people. So in this post ‘bully’ means over control of an AI model – which is not a person or human. From my OpenWebUI set up, I can see what it’s thinking and searching. I know when it is going off on a frolic of it’s own.
I don’t want that. It’s my money being spent on tokens. AI is not autonomous. You don’t just give a builder and instruction such as “Build me a house” and leave them to it! I’m certainly not doing that sort of thing with any AI model.
The example below is where I stopped it in its tracks. It was asked to access a YouTube vid, read the transcript and report if it could or not before proceeding to FACT CHECK. The video was about some guy saying that legislation is afoot to ban private use of AI models.
I could see in its thinking that it could not. Then it took off searching the web for what it thought I wanted. You don’t to that! Common sense would mean that if you cannot access, don’t run off doing what you think I want. But AI does not really have common sense.
Conclusion
Use AI. Do not trust AI. End of.
